Super Tuesday Results: Romney the Big Winner after Taking Six States

After all the dust has settled, Mitt Romney has won six states—Virginia, Vermont, Ohio, Alaska, Idaho and his home state of Massachusetts—on Super Tuesday, The Huffington Post reports.
Romney was the big winner in the GOP presidential primaries. Rick Santorum took three states, North Dakota, Tennessee and Oklahoma, while former Speaker Newt Gingrich claimed just one state—Georgia.
The wins on Tuesday more than doubled Romney's delagate count, according to The Huffington Post.
