Romeo's Tip of the Week: Plan Your Easter To Keep it Safe for Your Kids and Pets

Posts by Romeo, the little black dog.

Hello everyone!

I’d like to devote my blog this week to holiday safety. With Easter rapidly approaching, many people will be planning family gatherings, egg hunts, etc. Any time families are able to spend time together is a special time, but with celebrations there can also be tragedies if we aren’t careful. At Easter-time people plan wonderful meals and have candy-filled baskets galore; and even though we like to share with our pets, they can become very sick if they get hold of the wrong thing. Young children have lots of fun hunting for Easter eggs, and with baskets filled with chocolates & more. But too much of a good thing can make your little ones suffer with a bad tummy ache. If you use hard boiled eggs, beware of spoilage. The reusable plastic eggs can sometimes get lodged in a toddler’s mouth. With a little pre-planning and careful strategy, any holiday celebration can be fun for everyone!

So my tip this week is simple: When planning your Easter celebration, remember to keep it SAFE for your little ones and your pets.
