St. Charles School District 303 Parents Survey Begins

Annual satisfaction survey to be available on the district's website starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Local school officials want to know whether parents are satisfied with their children’s education, and St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 will conduct its 2012 Parent Satisfaction Survey from Dec. 11 through Dec. 18.

Parents of all District 303 students are encouraged to participate.

The anonymous survey takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete, according to a release from the school district, which will make the survey available beginning Tuesday, Dec. 11. You will be able to find the survey by going to www.d303.org and selecting “Take the Parent Survey!”

The district says parents should complete one survey for each of their children attending a District 303 school. There are different versions of the survey based on whether the student attends elementary, middle or high school.

All versions of the survey are available in English and Spanish.

In its release, District 303 said it conducts the annual survey on an array of topics including teachers, curriculum, instruction, principals, administration, buildings and food service.

“The Parent Satisfaction Survey gives parents the opportunity to evaluate the range of services District 303 provides and also gives district administration valuable feedback on our efforts to meet the needs of our students and our community,” said Dr. Mark Pomplun, District 303 executive director of assessment.

The survey’s results should be presented to the District 303 Board of Education in January or February of 2013, the district said in its release.
