Christ Community Welcomes NFL Today Host, James Brown, to WOW Weekend

On February 11-12, James Brown (JB), veteran broadcast sports analyst and host of CBS’ NFL Today, will visit Christ Community Church in St. Charles for a dynamic interview about faith, family, and living a life of significance.

Throughout his career, JB has worked beside many well-known sports figures such as Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Dan Marino, and Shannon Sharpe. His extensive sports knowledge, as well as his likeability and credibility, have earned him numerous awards including the 1998 and 1999 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio host for FOX NFL Sunday and the 2002 International Black Broadcasters Association’s Broadcasting Excellence Award.

In addition to his thriving career, JB is known for his consistent integrity in the world of sports and broadcast television. He is passionate about people and relationships, striving to do “the right thing the right way, all of the time.” Larry Stratton, Community Impact Director at Christ Community Church, is eager to welcome Brown, saying, “JB is one of the most highly respected sports anchors in the business. We are excited to have him with us to share his experiences in the sports world and his keys to living a life of significance.”
