Kane County Cougar Mascot “Ozzie” Visits Meijer in St. Charles

A proud sponsor of the popular local baseball team, the Kane County Cougars, Meijer has invited the teams’ infamous mascot “Ozzie” to visit their St. Charles store on Saturday, May 28, 2011. Ozzie will mingle with customers and pose for pictures from 11 a.m. to noon. Fans can also get excited about the FREE giveaways! Star 96.7 FM, “YOUR Music Variety!,” will be broadcasting live from Meijer and giving away fifteen (15) Family Four Packs, which equal four (4) general admission tickets to a Kane County Cougars game. The fifteen lucky winners will receive a voucher that allows them to attend any Cougars home game, as long as they reserve the tickets in advance.

Meijer is also continuing with “Meijer Mondays” in partnership with the Cougars where customers can bring their Meijer receipt on Mondays to the home of the Cougars – Elfstrom Stadium in the Kane County Events center at 34W002 Cherry Lane in Geneva, IL – to receive a free ticket with purchase of a Cougar General Admission.

This offer is good for up to four free tickets with the purchase of four tickets using a single receipt. Tickets are provided on a space available basis each day.
