Organized by The Congregational United Church of Christ with the support of Fox Mill Subdivision and the village of Campton Hills, last years’ inaugural United Fall Fest was an overwhelming success.

“Last year’s Fest exceeded our expectations,” said Mark Molloy, co-chairman of the event. “We are excited to build on that success and grow the event with even more attractions for both kids and adults.”

Car buffs will get their chance to kick the tires at the Classic/Vintage Car Show from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This new addition to the Fest offers a variety of those “good old days” automobiles that still turn heads today.

And what would a Fest be without “good eats”? A Pig Roast highlights the menu along with locally grown roasted corn, hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. Top it off with ice cream provided by Colonial Ice Cream.

Sam Adams is sponsoring the Beer Tent this year where additional beverages such as wine, soft drinks and water will also be available.

United Fall Fest is a Community Spirit & Charitable Fund Raising event with all proceeds going to missions and local charities such as Pottawatomie Habitat for Humanity, Kane County Casa, Tri-City Health Partnership, Tri-Cities Family Services, Elderday Center and St. Charles Shelter Assistance.

“It’s all about having a great time and giving back to the community,” said Molloy. “You can’t beat that. We hope you will spread the word and remember to mark the date, September 8 and check out our Website, www.unitedfallfest.com.
