The St. Charles North High School football team narrowly defeated South Elgin 27-25 on Friday night, but the win was not enough to keep the North Stars in postseason play, the Daily Herald reports.
The North Stars’ win put the team at 5-4 (3-3) for the season, and left the Storm with a 3-6 (3-3) record. North’s win failed to garner the team the points it needed to enter the postseason, according to the Daily Herald.
