St. Charles North Soccer Standout Breaks Valparaiso Record

Kristen Manski has her 21st career shutout, breaking the team's record. She is one shutout short of tying the school's one-season record.

Valparaiso junior goalkeeper Kristen Manski of St. Charles, a St. Charles North graduate, registered her 21st career shutout on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, during a scoreless draw against Loyola.

The clean sheet gave Manski enough to break the program's shutout record, which previously was shared by Mele Cabral and Erin Murray. Manski had three saves in 110 minutes of play. Manski also has nine shutouts this season, one shy of Valpo's single-season record.

The former Eclipse Select Soccer Club goalkeeper tied Valparaiso’s record Oct. 14 during the team's scoreless draw against Wright State.
