Mirroring conditions that have been near perfect this summer, Tuesday night once again boasted a lively turnout as cars and people took a ride down memory lane as Cruise Nite returned to First Street in downtown St. Charles.
The weekly motor festival featuring vintage to classic to modern to muscle cars is nearing the end of the road for the summer 2013 season — only two Tuesdays remain for Cruise Nite in August. The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce’s weekly summertime event is scheduled again Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
This week’s Cruise Nite seemed a bit more lively — with more folks not only walking around and looking at the cars, but talking with owners to find out how they did this or that — or to share decades-old memories about their first experiences with some of the vintage cars on display.
