Area Farmer's Markets Return for Summer Season

Farmers market information for events in Naperville, Geneva, St. Charles, Oswego, Plainfield and more!

Summer has arrived, and farmers markets are in full swing throughout the Chicago suburbs.

Just about every town has one these days; here are few that are local to you:

Naperville 

When: Wednesdays, June 4 through September 24 (closed July 2), 3 to 7 p.m.

Aurora Farmers Markets

Aurora's downtown market is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, at the Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway Ave.; mid-week markets are also held from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays from July 9 to Sept. 10 at 1901 Galena Boulevard and 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays from July 10 to Aug. 28 at 701 Eola Road.

Geneva

When: Thursdays, June 5 through October, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bolingbrook Promenade Farmers Market

When: 4 to 9 p.m. Thursdays from June 12 to Aug. 16 and 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays from Aug. 21 to Sept. 18
