The Park District urges folks to come early, as parking is limited. In the past, the district has urged residents to park downtown and walk up the Riverwalk to Pottawatomie Park.

Tips the St. Charles Park District has offered in the past to those attending the fireworks display include:

  • Please do not activate car alarms, which often are set off by fireworks.

  • Please wait until the fireworks are complete before leaving the grounds, since car headlights interfere with others’ viewing.

  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at park property.

  • Fireworks, including sparklers, are prohibited in the park.
