How Far to Austin Performs Thursday in St. Charles

The St. Charles Park District's free Concerts in the Park series continues at 7 p.m. in Lincoln Park.

How Far to Austin brings its brand of rock to the Lincoln Park Gazebo at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, as the St. Charles Park District continues its free Concerts in the Park Series.

Described by the Park District as a rock band with a heart of soul, How Far to Austin plays with an energetic and infectious style featuring hot guitar riffs, keyboard rhythms and soulful vocals. Whether performing their original tunes or favorite artists — who include Heart and Queen — How Far to Austin aims to have a good time and wants you to be a part of it.

So bring a blanket, a chair, some food and drink — but remember, no alcohol is allowed in the parks — and enjoy an evening of good music and fellowship with your friends and neighbors. If you don’t feel like dragging along your own food or drink, local vendors will be on hand, only too happy to please your palate.
