Sights and Sounds Delight in Downtown St. Charles

Plaza Folk Union brings folk lively folks sound as The Jackal of Juggling amazes Wednesday night in First Street Plaza.

An amazing run of beautiful summer evenings combined with outdoor entertainment continued Wednesday as Plaza Folk Union and The Jackal of Juggling brought a unique blend of sights and sounds to downtown St. Charles.

Sharing the First Street Plaza during a very pleasant, comfortable summer evening, the college friends from Bartlett who comprise Plaza Folk Union delighted the several dozen people who sat on the benches or at the tables that help make the plaza so inviting. For those more interested in watching The Jackal of Juggling, the band’s music served to complement Josiah Jones as he made balls, pins and rings appear to float in the air, apparently in sync with the rhythm of the music.

The performances are part of STC Live!, a product of the Downtown St. Charles Partnership, scheduled on Wednesday and Friday evenings in First Street Plaza and at downtown businesses through the end of August.
