STC Live! Brings Energy to Downtown St. Charles at Night

If you were downtown on Friday evening, you might have noticed two separate options for music enthusiasts — both lively but in slightly different location.s

STC Live! brought a trifecta of local entertainment downtown Friday evening, thanks to the Downtown St. Charles Partnership.


Plaza Folk Union, which also performed Wednesday, continued to enchant the crowds in First Street Plaza behind McNally’s Irish Pub with its unique musical stylings. The college students who comprise the band appeared to have as much fun entertaining as the crowd did being entertained.

Further south, Carl King sang to those visiting Kimmer’s Ice Cream, 1 W. Illinois St. King’s got a wonderful voice with a rich timber and wide range that impresses has he performs Gospel and related contemporary music.
