The 1990s alternative rock cover band According to Sarah performs at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at the Lincoln Park gazebo as the St. Charles Park District continues its free summer Concerts in the Park series.
Performing abstract music in their period flannel shirts, According to Sarah is a grunge-style group whose performance will take you back to a time when it was considered cool to wear slap bracelets, according to a Park District release.
Lincoln Park is along West Main Street, between 4th and 5th streets, in St. Charles' historic downtown. Come early — both to ensure better seats and finding a place to park.

Bring your lawn chairs or your blankets and invite your friends to a picnic in the park — if you don’t want to bring your own food and drink, there are vendors on hand offering an array of choices. Alcohol is not permitted at Lincoln Park.
The next concert in the park will be Aug. 15, featuring the music of Howard and the White Boys, the Park District release states.
