Were You or Your Kids Dancing Thursday in Lincoln Park?

You can always count on the kids to be dancing in front of the gazebo on Thursday nights this summer, but the adults are getting bolder, too.

So it was that Thursday night saw a great mix of kids, parents and even grandparents dancing to the sound of 1990s alternative rock cover band According to Sarah, which performed at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Park gazebo. The free Concert in the Park series is hosted by the St. Charles Park District.

Performing abstract music in their period flannel shirts, According to Sarah is a grunge-style group whose performance will take you back to a time when it was considered cool to wear slap bracelets, according to a Park District release.
