Week Ahead in St. Charles: Heat Wave and Hot Entertainment

Brace yourselves for warmer weather throughout this week: A late-summer heat wave that began Sunday in the Fox Valley will continue past the Labor Day weekend, according to AccuWeather, which predicts  temperatures in the lower 90s and into the upper 80s through at least Sept. 5.

Of course AccuWeather notes that moderate humidity will push up the heat index, meaning that  temperatures in the lower 90s will feel 4 or 5 degrees warmer during the daytime hours today, and that Tuesday’s forecast of 93 actually could feel more like 100 degrees.

AccuWeather says expect warm, humid conditions beneath sunny skies throughout the week, broken only by the possibility of a strong, morning thunderstorm on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.

By the way, the average temperatures for this time of years are in the lower 80s during the day and the lower 60s at night, according to AccuWeather.
