St. Charles Weekend Planner: Heat Wave and Hot Entertainment

The respite from this week’s heat wave was all too brief as temperatures climb back into the 90s this weekend as the dog days of summer attempt to linger into the season’s unofficial close — the Labor Day weekend.


AccuWeather predicts temperatures, which dropped into the 80s on Wednesday and are expected to climb a bit today, will be back in the 90s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The forecast includes the possiblility of a heavy afternoon thunrderstorm Friday afternoon and a morning storm in spots Saturday and an afternoon storm Sunday.


Otherwise, it appears mostly sunny conditions are expected, so check the forecast before heading outdoors, or do something indoors insteady. But St. Charles offers an array of options this weekend:
