This place has really gone downhill since becoming the river rockhouse.
The new owners don't seem to know anything about how to run a bar.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place! Also the only positive review below is from the owner... So you can't really trust that.

My husband & I are from out of state, & we follow a band. We have visited Chord on Blues a few times in the past. I am very disappointed in River Rockhouse. First of all, the coat check was not open. In hindsight, that was a good thing, because there was a huge hole in the wall letting in the cold November night air (covering it with a blanket does not help)! I wore my coat most of the night, INSIDE! I went to the bar to buy a soda, the female bartender finished helping the only two customers in front of her, made eye contact with me, and turned her back on me. She wasn't helping anyone! Wow! Maybe she figured I was not going to give her a big tip for her skimpy outfit, so why bother with me. My soda was flat when I did get it (same problem in a review from May 2012 @ http://www.yelp.com). The main reason I'm writing this review was the treatment of the patrons. When the lights went on, the bouncer started screaming in patrons faces to get out! Seriously, inches from their faces! In all my years of customer service I have never seen patrons being treated so terrible! It was like, we have your money, now get out! We are friends with the band, and many of the patrons there, we were not allowed to say good bye. The same female bartender told the band to go out to the street to say good bye to their friends. Really? I'm not speaking for the band, but I suggest you treat the band better, it is the only reason your place was full, it sure wasn't your customer service!!!

I love this place for many reasons... great place to work... great place to hang out with friends or come and enjoy the music... there food is now fantastic... I eat there a lot! You should definitely come down and check it out!
