St. Charles Cares Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort slates Nov. 16 as “a special Day of Giving” to raise funding for American Red Cross relief efforts.
The city of St. Charles and the St. Charles Park District are partnering to get the word out about a local effort to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, the massive storm that swept over the East Coast, causing devastating damage in New York, New Jersey and Long Island. The city and park district are asking residents to consider joining in the St. Charles Cares Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort to help victims of the recent hurricane, which caused extensive flooding, property damage and knocked out power to 5.5 million people.
