OMG PD: Egg Roulette, Moving Mini-Monolith, Mailbox Never Had a Chance

A round-up of recent and bizarre police report items from the area.

You know those monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people from rock on the Chilean Polynesian island of Easter Island between the years 1250 and 1500? Yeah, those things. Well, a 4-foot-tall version of one was taken from the front of a Geneva home recently. We are not making this up. Someone stole the “Easter Island Head” sculpture from the front yard of a residence in the 2200 block of Pepper Valley Drive between 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 7 a.m. Nov. 17, Geneva police reports state. The 4-foot cement statue had an estimated value of $100. Someone threw several eggs at a vehicle while it was parked unattended in the roadway in front of a residence in the 1100 block of Cheever Avenue about 9:55 p.m. Nov. 20, reports state. A witness …

St. Charles Police Blotter: Patio Umbrella Damaged; Battery and Obstruction

St. Charles police reports, July 30-Aug 1

TUESDAY, JULY 31 A 47-year-old woman living on the 1700 block of Cumberland Green Drive reported someone tore down her patio table umbrella overnight. Damage was estimated at $35. Police arrested Tearus Jamal Lesure, 19, of the 1400 block of Indiana Street, at 11:43 a.m. and charged him with aggravated battery of a peace officer, battery, possession of cannabis, driving on a revoked or suspended license, obstructing a peace officer, improper lane use and for failure to appear in court on a Kane County warrant. The arrest took place on the 2900 block of Majestic Oaks Drive. He was transported to the Kane County Jail. Police arrested Nicholas C. Anybody else been a victim of the Hispanic St.Charles Police officer ? I recently called 911 to report 2 female drunk Hispanic people harassing me and my daughter while at home .
