The St. Charles North High School Varsity Drill Team earned their 13th State Dance title this past Sunday, March 4th as they competed at the Team Dance Illinois State Championships that were held at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria. The team competed against many of the best dance teams in the state of Illinois. They added another state title to their already impressive 12 state dance championships. The North Stars gave a stunning performance in winning the state title in the Lyrical Division. The St. Charles team won their most recent honor on Feb. 12.
The St. Charles North Junior Varsity Drill Team brought home their 13th consecutive state title this week. The team grabbed top honors on Feb. 12 at the Team Dance Illinois State Finals at Argo High School in Summit. They were coached by Colleen Kobler. North JV team won the Open-Pom and Lyrical categories.

The checks were presented between basketball games at St. Charles East High School. Both East and North High School Drill teams were on hand.
Members of the Drill teams from St. Charles East High School and North High School presented checks to the American Cancer Society and LivingWill Cancer Resource Center in between basketball games Wednesday night. The St. Charles North High School Drill team continued their winning ways as they competed at the Upstate Eight Conference Championship held at Bartlett High School on Jan. 29. This competition served as a regional state qualifying competition and to determine the conference champion dance team for the Upstate Eight Conference.
