RiverFest Salutes Military With Heartfelt Letters From Home
Fox Valley Troop Support and VFW Post 5036 want troops overseas to know that Fox Valley residents are pulling for them.
Pride of the Fox RiverFest is attracting Fox Valley residents this weekend to downtown St. Charles with its musical enterainment, carnival rides, food and crafts. The highly anticipated yearly festival is celebrating its 29th year of kicking off summer in St. Charles. But as much as the focus is on those attending the festivities, those who can not attend because they are in the military around the world are not forgotten. Fox Valley Troop Support Inc. (FVTS) wants the public to remember that some of the area's citizens are stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
