Geneva Hardware To Relocate To Former Dominick’s St. Charles Location
While the new address may be just “outside the border,” owner Mike Dickson promises the same level of local service Geneva Hardware customers have enjoyed for more than 85 years.
Geneva Hardware will have a new home in a few weeks, when the store moves into the vacant Dominick’s location at 2063 Lincoln Highway in St. Charles. Owner Mike Dickson said Geneva Hardware—the name stays the same—will move into the 36,000-square-foot location to open in March, just in time for the spring shopping season. “We’re going to be ready for the spring season, which is really our Christmas,” Dickson said. “That’s the time of year we service the most amount of customers and do our biggest volume.” Dickson said the decision to relocate Geneva Hardware, located at 617 W.
