7 St. Charles District 303 Schools Win Excellence Awards
Richmond Intermediate honored with ISBE Academic Improvement Award.
The state has recognized seven local schools for excellence and another for academic improvement, St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 announced Monday. The recognition comes from the Illinois State Board of Education, which issued its Academic Excellence Award for 2012, a release from the district stated. Locally, the ISBE issued the award to Corron, Ferson Creek, Fox Ridge, Lincoln, Norton Creek, Wasco, and Wild Rose elementary schools. Richmond Intermediate School was named as one of 81 statewide recipients of the ISBE Academic Improvement Award for 2012 for making substantial gains in student performance. Good to see some good news on Richmond! Hats off to the faculty and staff who have poured so much love and hard work into that school!
