Family Feud? St. Charles Man Cited After Minor Gets Booze

Man was reported to police by a family member whose son had been supplied with an alcoholic beverage.

A St. Charles man found himself in hot water at home and with police last week after he supplied alcohol to an underage family member, whose parent then reported the man to police. Nicholas J. Juliano, 45, of the 200 block of Grand Ridge Road, was cited at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the St. Charles Police Department, 211 N. Riverside Ave., with social hosting/providing alcohol to a minor. He was issued a notice to appear in court. According to police, Juliano was approached by an underage family member who wanted alcohol to take to a party in DeKalb County. Police said he obliged. A St. Charles homeowner faces a fine of as much as $500, four juveniles have been cited with underage drinking and scores of teens are dealing with the consequences after police called their parents to come get them after officers broke up a Nov. 2 party on the city’s East Side. Lisa J. Lorenzini, 50, of the 200 block of Persimmon Drive, was cited under a local ordinance with social hosting, punishable by a fine of at least $250 and as much as $500, St. Charles police said. Four St. Charles teens, ages 15, 16, 17 and 17, were charged with possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said.
