Suicide Prevention Week presentation offers “What All Parents Should Know.”
St. Charles Community Unit District 303 will mark Suicide Prevention Week with a special edition of Parent University from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12: Suicide Prevention: Teens at Risk, What All Parents Should Know. The presentation in the boardroom of the District Administration Building, 201 S. 7th St., is part of the district’s ongoing efforts to prevent student suicide, the district said in a release issued Wednesday. The Parent University is among a series of events during Suicide Prevention Week. Dr. Denise Styer, clinical director for the Centers of Eating Disorders and Self-Injury Recovery Services at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, will lead the Parent University session, according to the release…
