Look Out Tri-Cities: 2 to 4 Inches of Snow’s Coming
The National Weather Services advises drivers to be cautious and shovelers to expect added strain from the wet, heavy snowfall.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow that is supposed to last until midnight, potentially snarling the evening rush and dropping 2 to 4 inches in the process. The advisory, which was posted by Accuweather, predicts the snow will be heavy at times, reducing visibility, before tapering off later in the evening. The National Weather Service predicts accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with some isolated higher amounts. The greatest accumulations will be north of Interstate 88. The greatest threat from the snow is reduced visibility, the weather service said, which could be cut to less than a mile at times, as well as rapid accumulations on roadways during the evening commute.
