Letter: Also Opposes Corporate Reserves Apartments

Another resident asks city's elected officials, administration, developers and residents to not allow apartments in Corporate Reserves project in St. Charles.

Dear Mayor, Alderman, City Officials, KHOV and Meritus Builders, My husband and I have lived at Remington Glen for five years and love living there and especially are proud to be residents of St. Charles.  I have read the comments below (see Letter to the City: Corporate Reserves Plan May Be Approved) and stand with my neighbors in asking that you please do not consider apartments for this location.   Further, we support all the points so eloquently outlined below and sincerely hope this land is used as it was originally intended…office space.  Even single family homes would be such a more fitting solution than apartments. You are both correct. There are some on the Council that are opposed to both projects that have candidates that are in favor of these types of uses and then there are challengers that are defintiely opposed to this type of thing and has been very vocal about it so yes the election is going to be very important. Resident addresses letter to the city's elected officials, administration, developers and residents about Corporate Reserves project.

Dear Mayor, Alderman, City Officials, KHOV and Meritus builders, and St Charles residents, I am writing this email to inform the local residents of what is in the works, express mine and my fellow Remington Glen neighbor’s opinions and concerns, urge other residents to express their opinion to the local officials, and convince the city council that this apartment complex is not needed and not beneficial for this city.  It has come to my attention that Corporate Reserve will be on the Planning and Development agenda for the Dec. 10th meeting.  It has also come to my attention that the board might be leaning towards approval for this project. Mr. Difruscolo, you have certainly done your homework. Well done! I suggest you submit your questions by FOIA, to get direct answers for the rest of the information you seek. We have a history, in this town, of misdirection and delay, for residents who attempt a direct dialogue with some city staff.
