Palm Prints Lead St. Charles Police to Robbery Suspect
A Glendale Heights man has been charged in the May 2012 armed robbery in a downtown St. Charles parking lot.
A 32-year-old Glendale Heights man has been charged with armed robbery after his palm prints matched those found on property stolen from the victim during an armed robbery on West Main Street in May, according to St. Charles police. Antwon D. Powell, of he 2100 block of Roland Drive, Glendale Heights, was taken into police custody without incident Tuesday night, Dec. 11, 2012, St. Charles police announced in a release issued late Thursday afternoon. He is charged with armed robbery with a firearm, a Class X felony. Powel's bail was set at $500,000 in court Wednesday at the Kane County Judicial Center.
