Mat Elfring, Neighbor

Mat Elfring is a web journalist for the website ComicVine and a writer and video correspondent for the comedian-run website Prattle Rattle. He is an ex-member of the Writer's Guild of America, and aside from writing many short films, he is also the writer of the comic books Gorgator and Bunch of Capes.

Mat currently works at Elgin Community College as a tutor in the English department, and he occasionally teaches screenwriting as well. At night, he is a stand-up comedian and runs A O.K. Comedy Showcase at Chord on Blues in St Charles (1st and 3rd Monday of every month!)

Mat has lived in Campton Hills (once unincorporated St Charles) most of his life and currently resides in downtown St Charles.
