Poll: Which Spots are You Checking out for Restaurant Week in St. Charles?

I've never been this excited to get a coupon in the mail.

The discount card for St. Charles' Restaurant Week arrived in the mail just the other day. This little semi-glossy baby will get me 25 percent off at 30 restaurants in the city.

Certain conditions apply, of course. You can also find a PDF of the card on the city's website. But, regardless of what the conditions are or how you get a card, this is such a great promotion. 

I love the restaurants here. Whenever I'm lucky enough to put down my laptop and leave the ol' home office, I try to venture out to a spot I haven't yet visited.

Of course, I do have my favorites. Have you tried the crepes at Colonial Cafe? Town House Cafe's brunch menu has some of the best quiche I've ever tasted. McNally's fish and chips paired with a Guinness is a great Friday night dinner.

There's really too many dishes to name in one article. Wherever I go someplace new, I search for at least one or two great selections because I know that every place has their own highlights.

I'm not going to reveal where I'm headed next week (the promotion runs Feb. 19-23). I'd rather turn it over to you and tell me where you plan to go.
