MONDAY, SEPT. 2, 2013

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Glenn D. McCarthy, 53, of the 600 block of Thompson, North Aurora, was charged at 10:41 p.m. on the 900 block of West Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, and speeding. Further details were not immediately available. He posted his driver’s license and was released on his own recognizance pending an Oct. 17, 2013 court appearance.

DUI

Joseph Thomas Carey, 31, of the 8900 block of Roland Drive, Barrington, was charged at 1:11 a.m. on the 1700 block of Dean Street with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, and improper lane use. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending an Oct. 2, 2013 court appearance.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 1, 2013

DUI

Kathleen M. Schlagel, 51, of the 7N600 block of Steven Glen Road, was charged at 11:51 p.m. at West Main and 2nd streets with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, and disobeying a traffic-control signal. Police were called to the scene after a report of an accident. Police said her blood-alcohol concentration was .224. She posted her driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a Sept. 26, 2013 court appearance.

FRIDAY, AUG. 30, 2013

DUI, Drug and Traffic Charges

Corey Robert Murtaugh, 25, of the 500 block of Woodward Avenue, Geneva, was charged at 3:57 a.m. on the 400 block of North 2nd Street (Route 31) with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, no use of driver or passenger seat belts, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a Sept. 19, 2013 court appearance.

THURSDAY, AUG. 29, 2013

DUI

Joseph R. Neubauer, 29, of the 600 block of Oakwood Drive, Geneva, was charged at 3:28 a.m. on Prairie Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, and failure to signal. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending an Oct. 17, 2013 court appearance.
