MONDAY,AUG. 19, 2013


Expired Firearms Card


Gregory S. Javarone, 49, of the 1800 block of King Edward Avenue, was cited at 3 a.m. at his home with having an expired firearm owner’s identification card. He was released on his own recognizance pending on Oct. 10, 2013 court appearance.

Warrant Arrest


Sherilyn Denise Venn, 27, of the 1200 block of Elm Street, was arrested at 9:22 a.m. at her home on an unspecified warrant. She posted $330 cash bond, a $75 booking fee and was released pending a Sept. 19, 2013 court appearance.


Fighting, Resisting


Jeremy S. Hale, 30, of the 400 block of Union Avenue, was charged at 2:07 a.m. at 204 W. Main St., with resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and cited with fighting after police responded to a large group of people arguing behind The Beehive, 204 W. Main St. As the officer approached the group, he saw Hale grab and push another man, whom he then punched in the face with his fist. Police said Hale resisted their attempts to arrest him. Hale has been banned from The Beehive. Hale posted $150 cash bond and was released pending a Sept. 19, 2013 court appearance.

FRIDAY, AUG. 16, 2013


Driving Under the Influence


Michael Peter Deguzman, 23, of the 700 block of Lloyd Lane, North Aurora, was cited at 1:30 a.m. at 222 W. Main St., with battery of an insulting/provoking nature, and was charged at 4:17 a.m. on the 400 block of Mark Street with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was held at the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.


THURSDAY, AUG. 15, 2013


DUI


Adam J. Binkle, 21, of the 12800 block of Lee Road, Hinkley, was charged at 2:56 a.m. on South Randall Road with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, and disobeying a traffic-control device. He posted his driver’s license and was released on his own recognizance pending a Sept. 19, 2013 court appearance.


Insulting/Provoking Contact


Tabetha C. Bloemke, 23, of the 1800 block of Walnut Street, was charged at 6:48 p.m. on the 1700 block of Walnut Street with battery-insulting/provoking contact. A neighbor told police Bloemke three some keys at her while Bloemke was arguing with her boyfriend.


WEDNESDAY, AUG. 14, 2013

Mailbox Damaged


A resident of the 1400 block of Keim Trail reported at 3:52 p.m. reported that her copper mailbox had been damaged late on Aug. 12. She told police she heard juvenile voices in the roadway and her dogs “went crazy” barking. She looked outside but did not notice the mailbox damage until later. Damage was estimated at $289.


TUESDAY, Aug. 13, 2013

Mailbox Knocked Down


A resident of the 1100 block of Keim Trail reported at 12:48 a.m. that he heard a loud noise outside his home and looked out to see two laughing boys get into a car and drive off. He then discovered a mailbox had been knocked down and beaten, apparently with a bat. Damage was estimated at $200.


DUI and Hit and Run


Rodolfo Perez-Lopez, 27, of the 2100 block of Illinois Avenue, Aurora, was charged at at 11:15 p.m. on the 1600 block of Indiana Street, with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, aggravated DUI-no insurance, and aggravated DUI-no driver’s license. At 11:58 p.m., he was charged with hit and run-failure to give information, no driver’s license, no insurance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. According to police, Perez-Lopez rear-ended another vehicle on the 00-99 block of South Kirk Road. He was held in the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.
