Public Drunkenness


Francesco Anthony Donatone, 23, of the 29W400 block of Lee Road, West Chicago, was cited at 1:47 a.m. at 12 N. 3rd St., with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness, and obstructing a peace officer. He was released with a notice to appear in court Dec. 19, 2013. Further details about the incident were not immediately available.

Retail Theft


Brian A. Frazier, 44, of the 1000 block of Somerset Mall Drive, McHenry, was charged at 9:42 a.m. at the St. Charles Police Department, 211 N. Riverside Drive, with retail theft. He posted $2,000 cash bond and was released pending a Nov. 27, 2013 court appearance.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol


Kimberly J. Schweppe, 55, of the 5N800 block of Castle Drive, was charged at 6:26 p.m. on the 3600 block of East Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and improper lane use. She posted her driver’s license and and a $100 cash bond and was released pending a Dec. 19, 2013 court appearance.

Retail Theft


Anthony B. Briden, 19, of the 200 block of Walnut Street, St. Charles, and Lydia A. Honea, 19, of the 1000 block of 18th Street, Rockford, were arrested at 2:27 p.m. and 2:57 p.m., respectively, at Kohl’s, 3840 E. Main St., on one charge each of retail theft. According to police, the two left the store without paying for merchandize. The report states Briden was wearing a pair of $21.50 boxer shorts and a pair of $16.50 socks he had taken, and had an $8.21 woman’s shirt tucked into his sweatshirt. A store employee followed the two when they ignored a request to return to the store, and the employee told police she saw Honea remove the woman’s shirt from her sweatshirt and give it to Briden, who had it in his clothing. The employee followed the couple to Foxfield Drive and Arrowhead Lane, where she met police, who took the two into custody. Briden posted $150 cash bond and a $50 booking fee and was released pending a Dec. 19, 2013 court appearance. Honea, who was on probation for a burglary conviction, was charged with felony retail theft and was transported to the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Cannabis Possession


Michael J. Gongaware, 18, of the 1800 block of South 2nd Place, was cited at 11:39 p.m. on the 1800 block of Fox Chase Boulevard with possession of cannabis.
